Delara, 2021. 4:11, single channel with sound. DIVINE for Episode 1 of their Journal Issue: 43 Commissioned by Carriageworks, NO SHOW in partnership with Runway Journal, 2021. Delara is a response to the theme of DIVINE for Episode 1 of their Journal Issue: 43, guest curated by Nathan Beard; ‘the sinewy synapses between rapture, discovery, flesh, desire & spirituality’ whilst navigating the planes of memory, history and trauma.
"...The divine pleasures of culturally specific textures and recollections are integral to the potency of Elham Eshraghian-Haakansson's Delara.... The former is narrated by score.... both works translate cultural regeneration through visual poetry that lends an urgency to their overlapping processes of recording." - Nathan Beard, Runway Journal, Guest Editor Issue: 43.
